Canadian Filipino baritone James Raquion has been described as a dedicated, versatile, and passionate artist. In 2023, James won first place in multiple classes at the Regina Music Festival and was a finalist in the Regina Central Lions Competition. He performed in The Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder and Melody Lingers On at Nuova Vocal Arts in Edmonton and has performed scenes from The Magic Flute as part of the University of Regina’s Opera Workshop. He is currently pursuing a degree in vocal performance from the University of Regina and studies with Dr. Christopher MacRae.
