Sarah Richardson is a Canadian Soprano born and raised in Port Moody, British Columbia. She is a first-year Master of Music in Opera Performance under the tutelage of Nancy Hermiston.  This season, Sarah performed the role of Rose Maurrant in Kurt Weil’s Street Scene with UBC Opera and covered the role of Manon in Massenet’s Manon in collaboration with Opera West Society and UBC Opera. This past December, she performed with the VSO Symphony Orchestra as the soprano soloist for the ‘Traditional Christmas’ concert series. In the Summer of 2022, Sarah was a Young Artist at Songfest in San Francisco, where she participated in Masterclasses led by Graham Johnson, Martin Katz, and Libby Larson. In July of 2024, Sarah made her operatic debut with Summer Opera Lyric Theatre, where she performed the title role of Mimì in Puccini’s La Bohème.
