Denis Petrov is a 23 year old singer, violinist, and composer, who is in his 1st year master’s at UBC. He participated in numerous concerts and festivals in greater Vancouver as a singer, violinist and pianist, such as in Surrey’s annual Fusion Festival. He was a member and soloist of Chor Leoni’s “MyVoice” program. He also participated in Vancouver Opera’s festival “White Nights” as a singer and as a violinist. This season, he has performed in UBC’s opera program as Captain Corcoran from HMS Pinafore, Carl Olsen and Abraham Kaplan in Street Scene, and Monsieur de Brétigny in Manon.
