Matthew Bermudez is a tenor hailing from London, Ontario. He graduated from Western University with both a Bachelor of Music degree under the tutelage of Torin Chiles, and more recently, his Master of Music degree studying with Sophie Roland. He will attend COSA Canada’s Summer Vocal Intensive at Mount Allison University this June. In 2023, Matthew was featured as a finalist at the Canadian Opera Company’s Ensemble Studio Competition and Opéra de Montréal’s Atelier Lyrique Talent Gala. Roles Matthew has performed include Ferrando in Così fan tutte, Oronte in Alcina, Dr. Cajus in Falstaff, and Don Ramiro in La Cenerentola.
