Hailing from Chilliwack, soprano Sarah Caulfield is a recent graduate from the University of British Columbia. There, her roles included Rusalka (Rusalka), Frau Fluth (Die Lustigen Weiber von Windsor), Corinna (Il viaggio a Reims), the Madame (Shadow Catch), Casilda (The Gondoliers), and Giulietta (Les Contes d’Hoffmann). For her debut as Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), her voice was lauded as “brilliant and full, floating high notes effortlessly, with beautiful coloratura” (Opera Canada). She’s also appeared as a soloist with the Vancouver Symphony, Richmond Orchestra, Chilliwack Symphony, and Bach on the Rock. When not singing, she enjoys crafts, trivia, and time outdoors.
