Thank you to all who joined us as we visited the colourful and eclectic world of nineteenth-century bohemian France at the Coast Capri Hotel!

Guests were enthralled by a one-of-a-kind bohemian-themed fashion show featuring earthy textures and rich colours, styled by local artists. They were surprised by a unique mix of music performances: a cross-pollination of opera, jazz and percussion, all performed by special musical guests. And they got a taste of our 2017 season with a few excerpts from our upcoming main-stage opera, Puccini’s La bohème.

All proceeds of the event go toward producing Opera Kelowna’s 2017 Summer Opera Series, which includes free outdoor concerts throughout the Central Okanagan, a summer training program for students, and our main-stage production (Puccini’s La bohème).
